Considering an event with us? Glanville Hall is open for inspection!

Each month, we open our doors and invite you to drop in for a look around our historic homestead.

Explore the gorgeous gardens, then head inside for a wander through the opulent rooms of our magnificent manor.

Our events manager will also be on hand to answer questions about the venue and our events packages.

Glanville Hall’s Mother’s Day High Tea includes tiered stands brimming with handmade, sweet and savory mini treats, plus fluffy buttermilk scones and bottomless, loose-leaf tea.

We are thrilled to announce that this year, we will be offering our very first Mother's Day High Tea here at Glanville Hall!

On Sunday 8 May, treat your mum to an unforgettable afternoon of sweet indulgence in our magnificent 150-year-old manor. You will be greeted with a bubbly fruit cocktail, then spoiled rotten with a luscious array of our chef's favourite handmade, sweet and savory treats - plus our famous, fluffy buttermilk scones and bottomless loose-leaf tea in our sweet vintage china.

Your menu will include a wide range of tempting treats such as finger sandwiches, tiny pies, quiches, tartlets, macarons, truffles, cupcakes, muffins, mousse cups and more!

Groups of all sizes welcome, from as little as two to large families of 20. Children are very welcome, and kids aged under 4 years are free of charge.

Introduction

This elegant Victorian Tudor manor was built in 1856 as a lavish family home for Captain John Hart, South Australia’s first Premier. Glanville Hall has since been an elegant private residence, a boarding home for Aboriginal boys, a community meeting hall and a public function centre before undergoing a spectacular restoration in 2008.

After several years of secrecy, this hidden gem is now in the hands of one of SA’s most awarded and experienced wedding and events teams…and we are thrilled to invite you to experience the sophistication, glamour and grandeur of Glanville Hall!

Glanville Hall is the perfect venue for:
