launching soon!

Welcome to gracious Glanville Hall, one of Adelaide’s best kept venue
secrets - and the home of truly bespoke weddings and events.

Wedding packages just released! Download here

This elegant Victorian Tudor manor was built in 1856 as a lavish family home for Captain John Hart, South Australia’s first Premier. Glanville Hall has since been an elegant private residence, a boarding home for Aboriginal boys, a community meeting hall and a public function centre before undergoing a spectacular restoration in 2008.

After several years of secrecy, this hidden gem is now in the hands of one of SA’s most awarded and experienced wedding and events teams…and we are thrilled to invite you to experience the sophistication, glamour and grandeur of Glanville Hall!

Glanville Hall is the perfect venue for:

  • seated events for 15-100 guests
  • standing-style and cocktail events for 30-200 guests
  • romantic and intimate garden and indoor ceremonies.

About the venue

Surrounded by immaculate, manicured gardens and a lush green golf course, Glanville Hall is just a stone's throw from picturesque Semaphore Beach and an easy 25 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD.

Tucked into a quiet and leafy residential street, this 150-year-old hidden gem includes five elegant main rooms offering flexible spaces to suit all styles of celebrations and events. From romantic indoor and outdoor ceremony locations and lavish reception halls to private meeting rooms and intimate celebration spaces, Glanville Hall combines the grace and glamour of a classical manor with the seamless service and exceptional food and wine you would expect from a modern, boutique venue.

This proudly family owned and operated business boasts one of the state’s most awarded and experienced events management teams - headed by husband and wife team Justin Markos (a multi-award winning chef) and Kelly Markos (an award-winning wedding and events coordinator). Glanville Hall hosts exquisite, bespoke wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as corporate events and private celebrations.
